On Thursday, children from across the school took part in an exciting Guinness World Record attempt for the most people reading online over a 12-hour period.

Throughout the day, pupils enjoyed a range of engaging activities, including virtual workshops with authors and interactive draw-along sessions led by illustrators. The event inspired a love of reading and creativity, while giving children the opportunity to learn from experts in the world of books and storytelling.

As part of the challenge, every child spent time reading, or being read to, for 10 minutes, contributing to the worldwide record attempt and celebrating the joy of reading together.

The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part and represented St Teresa's brilliantly throughout the event.

We are now eagerly awaiting the results and will find out at the end of October whether the record attempt has been successful. Fingers crossed!

A Celebration of Reading

The event was a wonderful opportunity to bring our school community together through reading, while encouraging pupils to discover new stories, develop their imagination and foster a lifelong love of books.

Well done to everyone who took part in this exciting challenge!
